Member profiles

Open your profile, control who can see it, and understand recorded study, trophies and the Academy leaderboard.

Your member profile brings your name, photo, bio and join date together with your Academy study. Your email stays off the profile.

Open a profile

In Settings > Profile > About you, choose View your profile. To visit another member, open Leaderboard from the Academy homepage and select their name. Administrators can also open a profile from the member panel in People.

Who can see your profile

Profiles are visible to active academy members by default. In Settings > Profile, set Who can see your profile to Only you and administrators and click Save to make yours private.

Other members then see only your name and photo, and you disappear from their leaderboard. You still see your own study. Administrators and people with permission to view learner activity can see private profiles and learning history. Being in a chat community alone does not grant access to another member’s study.

Profile settings explains the bio and visibility controls.

Tether Terminal currently has no academy curriculum ready. Your profile shows Study activity appears here once the academy is ready. The study sections below become populated when that academy is available.

Study activity and trophies

When the academy is ready, your profile shows time studied, study days, verified lessons and trophies, followed by a study heatmap, trophy case, course progress and activity by month.

A filled heatmap square means at least 5 minutes of recorded study in that day. It uses the same study record as Learning activity on your Academy homepage.

The trophy case has 15 achievements across study habits, lessons and courses, and notes and discussion, with tiers from bronze to diamond. Open a trophy to see its requirement. You can see achievements you have not earned yet on your own profile; other members see the ones you have earned.

Lessons count toward public study progress and trophies only after recorded study verifies them:

  • Watch at least 90% of a video. Skipping ahead does not count as watching it.
  • View every page of a PDF, with total recorded study time of at least 5 seconds per page.
  • Spend at least one minute on a written lesson.

Mark complete still updates course completion and unlocks the next lesson in a sequential course. It does not, by itself, verify study or earn a trophy. Trading achievements and posts are not part of member profiles.

Compare study time

The Academy Leaderboard ranks recorded on-screen lesson time. Choose This week, This month or All time. Your own row is highlighted when it appears. The optional Study timer is separate; starting it is not required to record lesson study.

Private and removed members stay off the board shown to other members. Administrators can see private members, marked as private. An empty period says that no study time is on the board yet.

Learning history

Your own profile and the administrator view include a per-lesson learning history. Other members do not see that history. The study record includes time, video coverage, PDF pages, completions and counts of notes and discussion replies. Your private note text stays private.
